Meet Melody, our Service Coordinator and Health and Safety Administrator 🌟🦺

Melody is the teams biggest cheerleader and a quiet powerhouse —always making sure everyone feels seen, supported, and celebrated. She never misses a birthday, celebrates every win, and is always there to lend a helping hand (even with a million things on her own to-do list).

As our Service Coordinator, she guides new homeowners through their PDI's with warmth and knowledge, ensuring they feel confident and informed about their new home. From answering questions to providing reassurance, her goal is always to help—and she does it beautifully. Behind the scenes, she’s also coordinating service appointments, solving problems, and making sure every homeowner feels heard and supported. Her natural ability to connect with people and find solutions is what makes her so great at what she does. On top of it all, she also leads the way in Health and Safety, keeping our team informed, safe, and supported.

With a smile that’s always genuine and a solution ready to go, she brings warmth, efficiency, and a little extra sparkle to everything she touches. We’re beyond lucky to have her on our team!

We asked Melody how she builds trust with homeowners, and she shared: "I believe in treating others with the same respect and care I would expect myself, delivering exceptional customer service rooted in kindness, professionalism, and honesty. I genuinely enjoy working with our homeowners and take great pride in supporting them with any service-related matters."

Say hello to Jordan, our incredible Project Manager/Estimator - and a powerhouse of construction knowledge. Whether he's breaking down building codes, crafting detailed estimates or making sure projects run as smoothly as possible. Jordan brings years of hands-on experience and insight to every project he touches.

Not only does he have a sharp eye for detail, but he views obstacles as opportunities to learn and grow, always finding solutions that keep things moving forward. That positive can-do attitude is one of the reasons we are thrilled to have him on the Barr Team!

We asked Jordan what his favourite milestone to hit is on a project, he let us know that: "There are plenty of milestones along the way for any project. By far my favorite is when the building takes on the cladding. Then you can see in real time all the effort you and the team have put into the project."

From selecting the right subdivisions to overseeing every detail of a project until completion, Holden’s unwavering energy, commitment, and passion for building homes are evident in everything he does. His leadership is defined by a never-ending drive to deliver excellence and create a lasting impact in every home built.

As part of a generational business where he is now the third generation, we asked Holden what this legacy means to him. He shared, 'The legacy of a three-generation family business means everything to me. It represents decades of hard work, resilience, and dedication—not just to construction, but to building trust, relationships, and a reputation that stands the test of time. I feel a deep sense of pride in carrying this forward to the fourth generation.'
